Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Pomodoro method work in Pomoji?

You start a focus sprint (Focus Flow), work uninterrupted until the timer completes, then take a short break. After a set number of sprints you take a longer break. Pomoji ships with sensible defaults; Pro users can customize sprint and break lengths in Settings.

The timer stopped when I locked my phone or switched apps.

iOS aggressively suspends background apps. Pomoji uses local notifications to alert you at the correct time even when the app is not in the foreground, so your session still ends on schedule. Keeping Pomoji open and the device unlocked provides the smoothest visual timer.

I'm not getting timer notifications.

Open iOS Settings → Notifications → Pomoji and make sure notifications, sounds, and banners are enabled. Also check Focus / Do Not Disturb is not silencing them.

How do I restore my Pomoji Pro subscription on a new device?

Sign in to the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase, open Pomoji, open the paywall, and press Restore. Your entitlement will re-activate.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Pomoji and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.

Will I lose my streaks and history if I reinstall?

Pomoji stores your session history, streaks, and heatmaps on-device. Uninstalling the app deletes that data. If iCloud backup is enabled on your device, Apple may include Pomoji data in your personal iCloud backup — restoring the device from that backup can bring the data back.

Does Pomoji collect or upload my data?

No. Everything stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
