Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using Quitter (listed on the App Store as "Quitter: Better Me") ("the App"), developed by AppSweat ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Quitter is a habit and recovery companion. It lets you track quit dates and streaks, log urges and relapses, follow a daily pledge and review, read educational articles, and block harmful websites in Safari. The App is provided for personal, lawful use only.

2. Not Medical Advice

Quitter is not a medical service. It does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Stopping alcohol or certain substances abruptly can be dangerous — talk to a doctor or a qualified professional before you quit. If you are in crisis or in danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right away.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for how you use the App's content.
Your data is stored on your device (and optionally in your own iCloud). Deleting the App or resetting your device may permanently remove it, so back up anything important.
You agree not to misuse the App or use it in violation of any law or third-party rights.

4. Quitter Pro & Subscriptions

Some features require Quitter Pro, available as an auto-renewing subscription or other plan shown in the App at purchase. Eligible users may receive a free trial on certain plans.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.

Use of the App is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, its content, text, design and branding are owned by AppSweat and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will help you reach any particular result. Content Shield reduces access to certain websites but cannot guarantee complete blocking.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppSweat is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
