Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Compressor (listed on the App Store as "Video Compressor & Photo Size") ("the App", "we", "us"), developed by AppSweat, handles your information.

The short version: Your photos and videos are processed only on your device. We do not upload, see or store them. The App has no accounts, ads or analytics.

1. Your Photos and Videos

All compression, resizing and conversion happens on your device using Apple frameworks.
Media you select is never uploaded to us or to any third party.
Compressed files are stored inside the App until you delete them. They are saved to your Photos library, shared or exported only when you choose to.
Temporary copies made during import are deleted automatically.

2. Permissions

Choosing media: the system photo picker and Files browser give the App only the items you select, not your whole library.
Add to Photos: requested only when you tap Save, so the compressed copy can be added to your library.
Full Photos access: requested only if you choose to delete an original item. iOS asks you to confirm every deletion, and deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

3. Metadata

Photos and videos can contain metadata such as location, date and camera details. You choose whether the App keeps all metadata, removes location, or removes all metadata from the compressed copy. This processing also happens on your device.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. The App uses RevenueCat to verify purchases and subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, purchase receipts and basic device information needed for this purpose. See RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

5. Analytics, Ads and Tracking

The App does not include advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across apps or websites.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete compressed files and history at any time in the App. Uninstalling the App removes all of its data from your device. We hold no copy of your media.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
