Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of the WHSTL mobile application ("WHSTL" or "the app"), published by AppSweat. By downloading or using WHSTL, you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to the app.
1. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, AppSweat grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use WHSTL on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms.
2. Training and audio safety
WHSTL is a general dog-training aid and does not provide veterinary, medical, behavioral, or professional training advice. You are responsible for using the app safely and humanely.
- Begin at a low device volume and increase only if necessary.
- Do not play tones close to a person's or animal's ears.
- Stop immediately if a person or animal shows discomfort, fear, stress, pain, or unusual behavior.
- Use short, appropriate sessions and positive-reinforcement practices.
- Consult a veterinarian or qualified trainer about health or behavioral concerns.
3. Hardware and results
Audible frequency range and output depend on the iPhone, speaker, connected audio route, system volume, environment, and listener. WHSTL does not claim that every device produces true ultrasonic output. The app does not guarantee recall, stop barking, or produce any particular behavioral result.
4. WHSTL Pro purchase
WHSTL may offer a one-time, non-consumable lifetime purchase through Apple's App Store to unlock Pro features. The price and included features are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. A lifetime purchase is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
5. Restore purchases and refunds
You can restore an eligible purchase on a compatible device signed in to the Apple ID used for the original transaction. Purchase processing and refund decisions are controlled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Your content and local data
You retain responsibility for dog profiles, photos, notes, reminders, and training history you create. WHSTL stores this content locally and offers a user-initiated export. You are responsible for maintaining any backup you consider necessary. Removing the app or deleting its data may permanently remove local content.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse WHSTL, violate applicable law, harm an animal or person, interfere with the app or related services, circumvent purchase controls, or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
8. Availability and changes
We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not warrant that every feature will remain available on every device, operating-system version, audio route, or in every region.
9. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WHSTL is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind. AppSweat does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, preservation of local data, compatibility with every device or speaker, or any training outcome.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppSweat is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or loss arising from misuse of audio or training guidance. AppSweat's aggregate liability relating to WHSTL will not exceed the amount you paid for the app during the twelve months preceding the claim. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory protections in your country or region continue to apply where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when WHSTL or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
